Command Mapper (Command Caller Integrated) - Highest Quality GIS

Command Mapper is an integrated GIS module to Command Caller. GIS functions include basic map tools (zooming, panning, etc), spatial queries (polygons, donuts, lines), attribute queries (selecting all phone numbers in a particular zip code) and feature identification (getting more information about spatial information in the database).

 

Command Mapper provides both Windows or Web based Command Caller User Interfaces with access to various data layers.  These include roads, parcels, assessment data, zoning information and other pertinent data layers. Many mapping functions are:

1. Zoom In, Zoom Out, Pan

Example: Zoom to a location in a state.

2. Turn off and on map layers

Example: Turn on a state "emergency services" and "roads" layer.

3. View attribute data associated with one or more phone numbers

Example: Show name, address, zip code and phone numbers in a particular area

4. Search Parcels by Zip Code, Address or Phone Number

Example: Select all phone numbers on "Main Street" and show associated data.

5. Select Phone Numbers by drawing a graphic

Example: Select all numbers within a polygon on the screen.

6. Select Phone Numbers by proximity to other map features

Example: Select all numbers within one mile of a point on the map.

7. Locate an address in the State

Example: Find an address on a map using the provided spatial data.

8. Measure distances on a map

Example: Measure the distance from an incident to a specific location.

9. Print the map

Example:  Create a printable version of the web map.
